Pec Playhouse Theatre members voted for new board members at the annual meeting Jan. 7.
Officers are Glen Wiegert, president; Amy Ter Hark, vice president; Laura Wiegert, secretary; Austin Van Vleck, treasurer; and members Arianne Baer, Pam Clark-Reidenbach, Matt Dodd, Angela Larson and Brian Pauley.
Also at the meeting, Steve Ellis was named the 2022 MVP and AJ Manning received the first ever MVP honorable mention.
Bylaw changes
Members at the meeting passed bylaws changes clarifying membership categories, their eligibility and length. The categories continue to be volunteer and supporting members.
Volunteer members are eligible for membership annually from the time they complete 10 hours of service and submit an application. They will be notified by the Volunteer Coordination Committee when they have recorded 10 hours of service. They may also serve on the Board of Directors.
Supporting members are eligible after donating an amount to be set by the board.
Both members’ years begin the day after the annual meeting and continue through the following annual meeting. Both types have full voting privileges and will be invited to member-only functions.
Among the first volunteer opportunities for 2023 will be joining a crew to paint the stage at the Seward Community Center. The painting date has not been set, but watch here and on social media for updates.
